Returning Vet Chaplains provide spiritual support and counsel in person as well as over the phone for service members. Many returning veterans benefit greatly from specialized spiritual care which often results in them finding strength, comfort and peace. Returning Vet Chaplains help veterans build upon their faith foundation and utilize it effectively.
War is often seen as a short-lived event, but in reality, it is long term, inflicting significant impact on service members and their families.
Most people are in need of spiritual and mental health relief after experiencing war. Military service men and women function better right away and in the long run if they have help with any grief and anxiety as soon as possible. Significant events change lives. It can be a well-managed and effective change that moves people in a forwarding motion.
An effective tool for limiting PTSD is the "Moving On" Retreat, formatted especially for military men and women returning from war. The main goal of the retreat is to minimize the negative effects of PTSD.
